The Play
Ella Black is a famous actress preparing for her role as Lady Macbeth on opening night when she is confronted by her past. What comes to light may end her career, a career she gave up so much to achieve.

The Group
Corofin Dramatic Society, Co. Clare, has been in existence since the 1950s and has competed on the full length and one-act drama festival circuit regularly since then. We were crowned All-Ireland one-act champions in 1993 and again in 2011 in the confined section. We qualified for the one act finals in 2021 and again in 2022 in the open section. However, we couldn’t attend the finals in Ballina in 2022 due to illness of a cast member.
